JSPS Washington Office co-hosted the Japan Medical Society of America (JMSA) New York Life Science Forum at NYU Langone Medical Center on April 7.
After the opening speech by JMSA President Yuzuru Anzai , MD, FACOG (NYU School of Medicine), Dr. Kohji Hirata, JSPS Washington office director gave a brief introduction to JSPS programs and the Japan-US Science forum which will be held in Boston this Autumn. The audience enjoyed 8 lectures given by invited speakers.
In the poster session, each presenter explained their research and participants listened attentively. After that, “JMSA Anzai Award” and “JSPS Washington Director Award” were given to the remarkable presenters.
This event attracted more than 300 participants who included Japanese researchers and ordinary people. Due to the big effort of JMSA committee members, the event was a great success.
