JSPS-WO hosts exhibition booth at AAAS 2023 Annual Meeting

JSPS Washington Office hosted an exhibition booth at the AAAS 2023 Annual Meeting held on March 2-5 in Washington, DC. Many groups presented their own exhibitions and attendees visited the event. JSPS WO aimed to promote our fellowship programs for Overseas Researchers. We implemented PR activity on building scientific collaboration between Overseas and Japanese researchers. We shared our booth with informational materials from World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI). The attendees were drawn to research opportunities in Japan and were interested in our programs that may suit their needs. Over 200 visitors came to our booth to learn more about JSPS programs. Others came to engage in conversation about their travel to Japan or research life there.
