The JSPS Washington Office held an information session at the Penn State University (PSU), on September 11, 2023 collaborating with Penn State Global. In the info-session, we introduced several types of our fellowship programs, including the “Summer Program” which is for researchers starting their career. The info-session was attended by Penn State young researchers and faculty members who were interested in Japan.
Further, Prof. Lauren Zarzar and Mr. Jeremy Sutherland, who were former fellows of the Summer Program, shared their research and cultural experiences in Japan with the audience.
We are planning an open call for the 2024 Summer Program, which would be the first time in seven years.
We will provide updated information this September.
