The JSPS Washington Office held an information session at the University of Virginia (UVA), on September 18, 2023 collaborating with East Asia Center at UVA. Sophia University and Waseda University also shared information about their exchange programs with the participants.
In the info-session, we introduced several types of our fellowship programs, including the “Summer Program” which is for researchers starting their career. The info-session was actively attended by undergraduates who were studying Japanese and faculty members who were interested in conducting research in Japan.
We are planning an open call for the 2024 Summer Program, which would be the first time in seven years.
We will provide updated information this September.
